“The Rise of Grazing Platters: How This Trend Became a Party Must-Have”

The concept of a grazing platter has been around for centuries, with different cultures having their own versions of this type of food spread. However, the modern-day version of the grazing platter that we are familiar with today is believed to have originated in Australia and New Zealand in the late 20th century.

The grazing platter, also known as a charcuterie board or a cheese board, became popular in Australia and New Zealand in the 1990s and has since become a staple at events and gatherings in these countries. It has also gained popularity in other parts of the world, particularly in the United States and Europe, where it is often referred to as a “grazing table.” Amaze and Graze Owner Suzanne O’Hara took the idea from Australia and decided to try out the “Grazing Platter” whilst she had friends over. This is where the idea of Amaze and Graze was born.

Today, there are many variations of grazing platters, from small boards for two people to larger platters for groups of 20 or more. The beauty of a grazing platter is that it can be customized to fit any occasion or dietary preference, making it a versatile and popular choice for gatherings of all kinds.
